UV AR Coated Quartz Plano-Concave Lenses
These Quartz Plano-Concave Lenses are manufactured using BK7 (N-BK7) compliant RoHS, and coated UV AR Coating @250-450nm.
UV Quartz has a wider spectral range than K9 optical glass (185nm-2100nm), has excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet band, has a lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, and has higher chemical resistance and very low fluorescence, can be used to make a variety of optical components.
They are often used in image ultimate systems and finite conjugate imaging systems. The greater the conjugation ratio is, the greater the aberration appears.
Plano-Concave Lenses are usually used in beam expansion applications, light projection, or focal length of expansion.
One side is flat, the other side is concave.

Like all Plano-Concave Lenses, these lenses have a negative focal length, it can be used to diverge light.
In order to minimize spherical aberration, the concave surface of the lens should face towards the light source.
In addition, they can be applied to counteract the effects of spherical aberrations caused by other lenses in optical systems.
UV AR Coated UV Fused Silica Plano-Concave Lenses can also be uncoated.
