Uncoated ZnSe Double-Convex Lenses
These Zinc Selenide Double Convex (DCX) Lenses are made of Uncoated CVD Laser grade ZnSe. A Double-convex lens focuses light into a single point.
Silicon (Si), Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), or Germanium (Ge) substrates are well-suited for Infrared (IR) applications, while fused silica is appropriate for Ultraviolet (UV) applications.

Like all Double-Convex Lenses, these ZnSe DCX lenses are characterized by a positive focal length and consists of two convex surfaces of equal radius, and made from CaF2 Single Crystal.

Double-Convex Lenses are commonly used in many finite imaging applications or relay imaging systems. The larger the conjugate ratio, the larger the aberration in the imaging system
ZnSe Double-Convex Lenses can also be coated with Infrared (IR) AR Coating @8-12um,
Anti-reflection coating can reduce the reflectivity of each surface of the lens.
